Joseph Hong has taught piano/keyboard for more than 15 years (don’t let his youthful appearance fool you of his age). He likes to explore new  ways of teaching piano so that his students acquire a skill for life rather than something that is put aside after years of lessons.

Joseph has an ATCL (Associate in Piano Recital with Distinction from Trinity College of London).  He has performed on the piano in a variety of settings including:

• Culture Night,  Ireland (2023 and 2021)

• Piano recital at Castletown House, Celbridge, Ireland (2018)

• Hotel Pianist, Celbridge Manor Hotel, Ireland (2018)

• Leixlip Library, Ireland (2017)

• Esplanade Library, Singapore (2006)

He has conducted workshops to teach groups of complete beginners to read music and play the piano in 1.5 hours.

While not at the piano, he busks on his fiddle playing Irish trad music, is a chartered accountant, provides the occassional astrological consultations amongst his numerous interests.
