Learning the piano can be hard. You might not know the notes, rhythm, which finger to use, which hand to use, you find it difficult to press 2, 3, 4 or 5 fingers down at the same time, it is difficult to find time, and the list goes on. But that does not make the journey of learning how to play the piano less rewarding. Here’s some words of encouragement:
You will not learn everything about playing the piano overnight. It will take time and accurate repetitions to be able to play the piano without actively thinking about how to do it. Playing the piano is a craft that is developed gradually over a long period of time, and not all pianists are “created equal”. Playing both hands at the same time, reading, playing by ear, improvising, etc is a major hurdle for everyone. However, if you work consistently, you will be able to play with confidence. Meanwhile, relax and have a good time on the road to success.
